NovoRetin™ works by supporting the skin’s natural retinoic acid signaling, helping to improve firmness, smoothness and overall skin quality. It has been shown to:

How to Use THE PAUSE Bio-Retinol Serum

Apply Beautifying Toner first to hydrate and prepare the skin. While the skin is still slightly damp, apply approximately 5 drops of THE PAUSE and gently press into the face and neck, avoiding the immediate eye area. Increase the amount if your skin needs additional nourishment.

THE PAUSE can be used every evening and, unlike traditional retinol, it can also be used in the morning because the formula is not photosensitising.

For best results:

• Use consistently once or twice daily.
• Always apply after toner.
• Do not combine with other retinol or retinoid products.
• Follow with moisturizer if additional hydration is needed.
• When used in the morning, finish with SPF.

Why does the product contain fragrance (parfum)?

In the INCI list, fragrance is declared as “parfum”, but in this formula it comes from a blend of natural oils and essential oils. It is included to create a refined, sensorial and luxurious experience.

Can The Pause Bio retinol be used during summer?

Yes. THE PAUSE does not contain retinol or retinoids and can be used year-round, including during summer. Daily SPF is always recommended as part of a complete skincare routine. 

Can The Pause be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

THE PAUSE does not contain retinol or retinoids. However, as the formula contains essential oils, we recommend consulting your healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. As a precaution, use should begin after the first trimester.

Can I use it with other active ingredients?

Avoid combining with other retinol or retinoid products. It can be used with hydrating and barrier-supporting products such as moisturizers and toners.

How long does it take to see results?
