Argan oil / Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil 

Highly loved and appraised Argan oil contains high amounts of vitamin A and E, antioxidants and  omega - 6 fatty acids and linoleic acid which help to reduce fine wrinkles and easing inflammation.  The oil renew and repair the skin making the skin soft and supple. It has also said to slow down the premature signs of aging.Argan oil is extracted from the kernels of the Argan tree.

 

Avokado oil / Persea Gratissima

Avocado oil is rich in Vitamins A, B1, B2, B5,C, D, E and K, which means your skin gets tons of lovely benefits. The oil has high levels of botanical compounds known as phytosterols, so avocado oil plays a huge role in rejuvenating stressed, mature and tired ski. It also has a great ability to soothe dry and itchy skin. The oil is extracted from the flesh of the Avocado by pressing or centrifuge extraction, this yields a lovely bright green oil, which is due to avocado’s rich chlorophyll content.

 

Birch sap / Betula alba juice

Birch sap is natures own “aqua vita”, water of life. It is super concetrated, providing the skin vast amount of nutrients including  enzymes, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, zinc, sodium, iron, Vitamin C, fruit acids and amino acids to give exceptional healing, health and vitality to the skin as well as rejuvenating and protecting the skin.  It is also recognized as a pure, potent anti-ageing ingredient. Birch sap restore the skins suppleness and give a beautiful radiance and glow. Birch sap originates from countries where temperatures reach minus 20-30 degrees Celsius. It is collected by taping the tree trunk during early spring when the birch tree awakes from a winter period. The sap contains all the ingredients for the birch tree to burst back into life for the short northern summer.

 

Castor seed oil / Ricinus Communis 

Quite thick and sticky consistency of castor oil crabs the impurities and make-up on your face very effectively.  Castor oil has natural antibacterial and antifungal properties and is high in Vitamin E, minerals, proteins, and Omega 6 and 9 beneficial fatty acids. Its unusually high ricinoleic acid ratio makes it beneficial to skin and hair. Therefore it provides incredible nourishment to your lashes and helps accelerate eyelash growth. Castor oil helps stimulate the production of collagen and elastin which can soften and hydrate the skin. It restores and rejuvenates skin's natural youthful appearance by making skin smoother and softer. Castor oil  is extracted from castor seeds.

 

Cetearyl Olivate and Sorbitan Olivate   

Cetearyl Olivate and Sorbitan Olivate are naturally derived from olive oil. Together they make make an excellent emulsifier and thickener for the product.

 

Citric acid

Adjusting pH of products to make them more acid / less alkalie.

 

Cornflower water / centaurea cyanus flower water

 Cornflower water is well-known for its cooling and toning properties. It has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which are one of the reasons to its healing effects. This hydrosol also gives the skin a beautifully radiant complexion.

 

Cupuacu butter / Theobroma Grandiflorum

Cupuacu butter´s incredible creamyness and a high level of essential fatty acids helps the appearance of your skins elasticy, improves the appearance of prematurely aging and boost natural moisture making the skin feel soft and smooth . Though it's not recognized as an SPF, Cupuacu Butter is well known for its ability to absorb damaging UVA / UVB rays for natural sun protection. Cupuacu Butter comes from a cupuacu fruit tree of the chocolate family.

 

Evening primrose / Oenothera Biennis

One of the best oils for anti-aging is evening primrose oil thanks to its high percentage of GLA. Its anti-inflammatory properties help reduce inflammation, swelling and soreness on the skin. This helps to reduce redness, itching, rashes and hives, which may be brought about due to eczema, psoriasis or other skin conditions. It has ultra-moisturizing qualities that can help keep the skin supple, smooth and soft.

 

Glycerin

Glycerin is a colorless and odorless liquid that comes from plant sources. It is a humectant, which means it can draw moisture from the air around us. Glycerin primarily serves to hydrate skin and help it hold on to moisture but it also helps enhancing the penetration of other ingredients into skin’s uppermost layers.

 

Jojoba seed oil / Simmondsia Chinensis

Jojoba mimics the skin’s natural oils and can penetrate deep into the skin layers. Jojoba naturally contains a balance of vitamins A, D and E which are known as skin healing vitamins. Essential fatty acids omega 6 and 9 help to regenerate skin cells and repair damaged skin tissue. Jojoba is naturally antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and hypoallergenic, so it can be  used to soothe a wide range of skin condition. Jojoba’s wax ester fills the gaps between skin cells, soothes and slows their metabolism, protecting skin against accelerated skin aging. Contrary to its name, jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax distilled from the seeds of the jojoba plant.

 

Lemongrass essential oil / Cymbopogon Schoenanthus

Lemongrass essential oil benefit is its skin healing properties. It is used as aromatherapy to relieve muscle pain and reduce body aches (The oil helps to improve blood circulation)The oil is stimulating, relaxing, soothing, and balancing. The smells of a lemongrass is bright and uplifting. Lemongrass essential oil is a source of essential vitamins such as vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, folate and vitamin C. It also provides essential minerals such as magnesium, manganese, copper, potassium, calcium, zinc and iron. Lemongrass Essential Oil is derived from the steam distillation of the fresh or partly dried Lemongrass leaves.

 

Limonene and linalool

Limonene and linalool are  compounds that occurs naturally in many essential oils (for example in lovely and uplifting lemongrass and sweet orange oil which we have chosen to use in our products). Some people may have allergic responses to these specific (citrus like) fragrance materials, such as linalool and limonene. 

 

Lingonberry seed oil / Vaccinium Vitis-Idaea Seed Oil

Lingonberry seed oil has been clinically shown to reduce wrinkles and increase skin hydration and elasticity. Berries contain a wide variety of plant chemicals called polyphenols, which are powerful antioxidants. Vitamins B and C, minerals, steroils and fatty acids are all in this amazing berry. Fatty acids improve the appearance of the skin and  they speed up wound healing and reduce water loss through the skin promoting a more moist, less dry skin. Sterols reduce redness and skin sensitivity, promote tissue regeneration, and have anti-inflammatory properties. Lingonberries has also said to have  skin lightening effect, helping to reduce the appearance of uneven skin pigmentation and age spots. Lingonberry seed oil promote a healthy, moist, glowing skin!

 

Oat oil / Avena Sativa

Oat oil nourishes and soothes dry and sensitive skin. The anti-fungal properties in oat oil helps to cleanse the sensitive and damaged skin, and  also helps to reduce inflammation and seriously calm itching. Oat oil contains linolenic acid, ceramides and phospholipids that make skins outer barrier stronger. Lots of omega 3 and vitamins A, B and E the oil makes the skin soft and supple. Oats have incredible antioxidant benefits, which make them pretty amazing as an anti-aging moisturizer.

 

Rose water / Rosa Damascena


Aromantic Rose hydrosol nourishes skin health, helps restore moisture balance and restores skin's radiance, beauty and youthfulness. It is  high in antioxidants and because of its anti-inflammatory properties, it suit well for dry, acne-prone or problem skin.  This aromatic water of organic roses rejuvenates, hydrates, softens, calms redness and feelings of irritation. Rose hydrosol reduces the signs of premature aging effects of time (as seen in facial lines and wrinkles).

 

Rosehip seed oil / Rosa canina

Rosehip seed oil is full of vitamins (vitamin E, vitamin C, vitamin D and B-carotene, a form of vitamin A), antioxidants that help fight free radicals, essential fatty acids that are known to correct dark spots and hydrate dry, itchy skin skin -  all while reducing scars and skin discoloration. It also helps to smooth out facial lines and wrinkles. Rosehip oil gives your skin beautiful and healthy glow

 

Rosemary / rosmarinus officinalis extract


Rosemary is known to have high antioxidant  and antimicrobial properties and can combat fungus and bacteria. Rosemary leaf extract is produced from the leaves of the Rosmarinus officinalis plant.

 

Sea buckthorn seed oil / Hippophae Rhamnoides

Sea buckthorn oil is well-known for its healing and rejuvenating effects on the skin. its intensely rich nutritional profile (amino acids, vitamins B1, B2, K, C, A, E, and folic acid, over 60 antioxidants, at least 20 minerals, and healthy fatty acids) promotes skin hydration, elasticity, and skin regeneration (anti-age)  and even helps treat and prevent acne. Sea Buckthorn has high antioxidant and anti-imflammatory properties. This oil really works wonders for improving skin health.

 

Shea butter / Butyrospermum parkii

Shea butter is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F and provides the skin with essential fatty acids and the nutrients necessary for collagen production. Shea butter is incredibly nourishing and moisturizing and it  offers natural UV protection (SPF ~6). Shea butter is an off-white fatty substance obtained from the nuts of the shea tree.

Sunflower seed oil / Helianthus Annuus

Sunflower oil is rich in vitamins A, C, D and E and minerals and essential fatty acids. Vitamin E improves the appearance and health of your skin by preventing scarring and smoothing of existing wrinkles. Vitamins A, C and D and healthy carotenoids and waxes form a protective barrier on the skin. Oil comes with anti-inflammatory properties and high levels in antioxidants which helps in elimination of free radicals and toxins responsible for certain skin issues due to cell damage. It also contains linoleic acid which works along with omega-6 fatty acid to help in cell regeneration. Sunflower seed oil is pressed from the seeds of a sunflower.

 

Sweet almond oil / Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis

The oil contains generous amounts of monounsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, potassium, proteins, zinc, and a number of other vitamins and minerals, so almond oil works wonders for the skin, hair, and health. The oil prevents the signs of aging, renewing skin cells and and completely nourish the skin making it smoother, softer and more radiant. Vitamin A content in the oil may even help reduce acne flare-ups. It is excellent for removing makeup. Sweet almond oil  can easily penetrate deep into the skin, softening and dislodging the dirt in the skin pores, which prevents blackheads and acne.

 

Sweet orange essential oil / citrus sinensis

Well-known for its uplifting and worry-reducing properties, orange oil carries cheerfulness while simultaneously calms, making it ideal as an overall mood enhancer and relaxant.

 

Sodium benzoate and sodium dehydroacetate

Sodium benzoate and sodium dehydroacetate are preservatives allowed by Ecocert and COSMOS. They both are excellent at inhibiting the growth of fungus, yeast and bacteria in the product.

  

Vitamin E / Tocopherol

Vitamin E / Tocopherol is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin. By blocking off the free radicals in our body, it helps in slowing down the aging process. Vitamin E is known to be helpful for reducing scars, acne and blemishes. It also helps the oils good and effective for longer. In nature, vitamin E comes in the form of tocopheryl or tocotrienol. 

  

Xantham gum

It is a polysaccharide produced through a bio-fermentation process of Xanthamonas campestris and sucrose or glucose. Xanthan Gum is an excellent natural thickener for emulsions.
